I'm almost done with editing...

 I loosely wrote the introduction for Temple of Haunted Laundry: Shadow Cycle of the Black Sheep Chronicles.

I was sleepy, but rolled out of bed as soon as I knew what to say. It's not perfect. Not poetry. I wasn't even trying to perfect it. Just wrote, stuck it in the book, and let it upload. It's as raw as you get from a writer. (My daughter's English teacher would have scribbled all over it).

The introduction feels as though I will be telling a very heavy, emotional story. 

Heavy and emotional is not my style. I am automatically wired to tell stories in a fun and sarcastic way.

So I don't think my parents will be too thrilled that their intro will be followed by tales of bedroom romps, bad laundry habits, and continual baa baa baa'shings of men, of women, and of Sheep.

Sorry mom and dad. But, the laundry moments were good times!
